Not survival, just looking for useful stuff, you know, like you do at the beginning of a 4X game before it gets all hairy and micromanaged. I thought approaching the explore thing from a local perspective instead of the usual top-down strategic overview, might be an interesting take on an old genre.

Stroll

Stroll is just a walk in the park. It’s only here because I get nostalgic sometimes and wanted to look back at it now and then. It’s a basic third- or first-person shooter (depending on version) and there’s nobody to shoot back, just a bunch of targets. In some levels the targets were right there and the idea was to see how fast you could knock them down; in other levels the challenge was just to find the things.

Hello Jacals!!

(Not affiliated or endorsed, just excited)

Jacals is finally available for download! It’s only a playable demo at this point. But it’s something, and that’s new. So why get it now instead of later? So that you can shoot some bad guys, of course.

Jacals is all about shooting bad guys, and that much is available in this first demo. The future plans are to add variety in how you shoot bad guys, and to set a distinctive style.

About

Goldraven

The business started in January 2020, like most, because I wanted to make some money doing what I love to do. In the long term, I envision a popular, profitable, branded series of Indie games that are known for unique gameplay, humor, and strategy. The mission is to secure that vision by providing a single, scalable flagship product supported by smaller, low-scope standalones.

Charlie

I’ve been coding and playing games all my life. I started in 1980, by telling my mother I could help her do taxes using an Apple II (she owned an H&R Block franchise back when that meant something). She laughed me out of the room, but then hired me later that year to make sense of an accounting package made for an IBM machine. It was about that time I found Avalon Hill and buried myself in a pile of chits for a few years (Squad Leader & ASL, Rail Baron, Civilization…).

Credits

Here are a few of the fine people whose products we use here:

Events

Notable events go here.
